One of our favourite things to do in Bangkok is to visit Ayutthaya, one of the most popular tourist destinations in the country and the largest city in Thailand. Siam Paragon is one of the most popular tourist attractions in Bangkok, and without it a trip to Bangkok would be incomplete. The Grand Palace was built at the end of the 18th century and is located not only in the heart of Bangkok, but also in Thailand. About 45 minutes drive from the city is the Samut Prakan attraction with the embattled Preah Vihear Temple, one of Thailand's most famous temples.
This reputation precedes some of the best activities in Bangkok around the city, such as the famous Dotted Rock Museum, Thai Museum of Art and the Royal Palace.
Love it or hate it, enjoying the atmosphere of Khao San Road is still one of the best options in Bangkok. Wat Pho is an important temple and deserves to be at the top of your list of things to do in Thailand. As for temples, a visit to WatPho was one of the coolest things you have done in Bangkok. The visit to the famous Chulalongkorn Temple, also known as the most famous temple in Thailand and birthplace of King Bhumibol Adulyadej and his wife Thaksin Shinawatra, is also one for the good things that are done outside Bangkok, but not the only one.
It is relatively easy to get from Bangkok to Chiang Mai, Phuket, Chulalongkorn, Pattaya and other parts of the country, and it is a must to visit. Bangkok is the perfect place to explore Thailand, but not the only place in Thailand.
